Inaugural exhibition game for 12 year old players: 2024 Los Alamos County Little League is inviting all league age 12 year olds to compete in an exhibition baseball game after the opening day ceremonies on Lou Caveglia field. Any registered 12 yr. old interested in playing should come to the third base dugout at the completion of the ceremonies. Teams will be made up by coaches and we will play an 1.5 hr game with all kids guaranteed playing time. We also plan on serving hamburgers, hot dogs and frito pies with soft drinks. Please come out, support Los Alamos County Little League, and let’s enjoy America’s favorite past time!

- Thank You! - Each of you make Los Alamos County Little League the success it is today! From parents and players, to team moms and scorekeepers, to the dads who shag fly balls and help strap on the catcher’s gear – YOU ARE LACLL!

- Participation - The Opening Day Celebration is for EVERYONE. All players and families should plan to participate. Best of all, this will be an exciting event for players, parents, and families!
- Uniforms - Jerseys have been received by our Uniform Coordinator and we are working on getting them to coaches. Every team will have their uniform prior to Opening Day and/or Team Pictures. Please be patient with us as we get them distributed. Hats (baseball only) were distributed to Coaches last week. Players should be dressed in your FULL UNIFORM for our Opening Day Celebration!
- Parking - Please ONLY park in appropriately marked spots. We encourage you to carpool to minimize the number of cars at the event. Please use caution and drive slow as there will be a high volume of foot traffic.
- Activities – All of the teams will be announced onto the field, a local dignitary will throw out the First Pitch as well as get our season underway with "Play Ball."
- Help Needed - We will need some additional assistance to make the event a success. Please check your email and the website for updates on how you can help.
- Weather Plan -We are hoping for wonderful weather for our celebration! But in true New Mexico fashion please bring layers.
